A distinguished film and television producer, media consultant, economist, and community advocate with over a decade of high-level industry experience, Viyon Awhanse specializes in navigating the creative and logistical complexities of major international and West African screen productions. Having served as Executive Producer, Story Creator, Line Producer, Floor Manager, Production Manager, Location Manager, and Fixer across nearly 2,000 television episodes, feature films, and live shows, he serves as a pivotal bridge between Africa’s rich narrative landscape and world-class cinematic standards.

As BIFIF’s founder, he is building a cultural and cinematic hub in Badagry—using film to advance tourism, youth development and creative collaboration across Nigeria, neighbouring Benin Republic and the wider West African region.
