VIYON AWHANSE, BIFIF’S FOUNDER CELEBRATES WORLD TOURISM DAY WITH INDUSTRY STAKEHOLDERS

Viyon Awhanse, TvFilm Producer / Director and the Founder/CEO Badagry International Film Cultural and Sports Festival, joined industry professionals and stakeholders to commemorate World Tourism Day. The event, hosted by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture in collaboration with Sterling Bank, highlighted the significance of tourism in the state and its contribution to the economy.

Among the distinguished attendees were: Honorable Toke Benson-Awoyinka: Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture
Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Alibaba GCFR, Kunle Afolayon, Florence Hugbo Bodex, Gbolahan Ogundimu Odusanya, popularly known as Iyen Na Nice.

Viyon Awhanse emphasized the importance of tourism as a key focus of the Badagry International Film Cultural and Sports Festival. The second edition of the festival, THE ROOTS AND ROUTES, will take place from November 13th to 16th, 2024.
